NDISB August 2010 Creative Team Projects

August Creative Team Projects for NDISB

NEVERLAND SCRAPS – This month I chose a very very lovely kit, “Once Upon A Dream.”  I picked this kit for its color scheme and the textures represented in the elements.  At first glance it looks like a kit for scrapping layouts of little girls as princesses, having dreams of their prince charming.  But once I opened it I saw it had many more possibilities.  One of which was scrapping this layout of my own “Prince Charming”  Mark.  The neturals, blues and yellows worked so well for a masculine layout.  I was extremely pleased with how easy this layout came together using this kit.  I do hope that you enjoy it.

You can find “Once Upon A Time” at Natural Designs in Scrapbooking.    While you are there, take a look at all the kits and other fine products offered by Neverland Scraps and all the designers at NDISB.

My second project this month at NDISB is using Bernadette Hunt’s April in Paris Kit.  I picked this mini kit for its papers actually, because they were just so bright and colorful and would do well bringing out black and white photos, as well as photos that don’t have a bunch of colors in them.  And, I have to admit, I loved the statue elements and the gate included in the mini kit.    Below is the layout that I put together just using the mini kit!

You can see all of Bernadette’ wonderful products here at Natural Designs in Scrapbooking.  Pop on over and take a look!

Here is a special request from Bernadette Hunt at NDISB.  She has just finished an EXCLUSIVE kit for NDISB entitled “The Duck Pond“.  She also has put together a Sampler and a QuickPage set, plus you can get the Tag Alpha in with the Kit or purchase it separately!  This collection is just super cute.  The papers are vibrant and full of texture, and the elements are realistic and beautifully done!  I have to say, I really enjoyed this kit and putting this layout together.  I just happened to have a ton of photos from the Duck Pond, how convienent, from Fountain City Tennessee and it just went together, snappy quick!

Bernadette, a big thank you for allowing me to use your kit!  You may see all of Bernadette’s products here at NDISB.  Please take a moment and pop over and see her lovely work!
