About Floppy Latte Designs

Yep, Im at it again.  I am finally getting the hang of this blogger thingy!  I thought a page dedicated to Floppy Latte Designs was in order.  So here I go the the personal info!

Floppy Latte Designs – the name comes from my significant other, Mark.  He so thoughtfully purchased me an espresso machine for Christmas, and since he could not remember all the different coffee drinks that I crank out, he calls everything that comes out of the machine “Floppy Lattes”, I thought to myself, Self…that is such a catchy  name, you should use it!  And thus the name, Floppy Latte Designs was born.  I had been doing a bit of designing under my real name, Jessica,  but the new name just sounded sooooo fun! So, all the credit goes to Mark, for his humor and great ideas!

As for me:  I am 42 years young, live up on the side of a beautiful mountain in SE Kentucky with Mark, and our little baby “Snooch” (again, another one of Marks brilliant names).  We live just a house over from his father, who by the way is a hoot and a half, and near to other family members.  Our favorite thing to do in our downtime, which is rarely, is to go up on the mountain trails in our Polaris buggy and just ride around the mountain til we find a good place to stop, and we just have a little cookout!  Of course, I take lots of pictures of just about everything, because everything is a source of inspiration for me!  I also like taking the guns out and shooting clay pigeons and target practice.

I work for a great company, Presley Trucking, Inc. here in Kentucky. I am the admin contact for the shop here and the manager, Dan.  What a great boss to have!   We haul coal from the mines to the prep plant that is located just down the road.  The best part is that I get to work from home!  It is tough but I would not have it any other way.

I began dabbling in designing about 6 years ago when I got my first Paint Shop Pro Program, and have taken several breaks during those years, but figured now was the time to get back into it full time.  It is a wonderful stress reliever for me and I get to express my creative side.  I currently use CS4, Paint Shop Pro XII Ulti. and PSE6.  I know that CS5 is coming out, but heck, Im still learning CS4 so I think I will stay where I am at for the moment!

And just so you will know who I am:  Here I am!

After my computer crashed and I lost all my digital scrapbooking files, I was determined to try and replace my favorites. I was excited to find you again, since you had those delightful recipe card templates. I started a project of making my own cookbook and I wanted to get the templates back so I could finish. However, you do not offer them for free download anymore. I was wondering if you planned to upload them again in the future? Thanks.

    • Hi Leslie!

Thank you for writing to me. First, let me say thank you for the lovely compliments on my recipe cards. Since this is the second request for them, I am going to find the files and make them available for 15 days more for free, and then they must go into my store. I have to locate the original files, but I will email you as soon as they are uploaded. I had no idea they were that popular!!!!

Please look for an email shortly!

Thank you so much Jessica Floppy Latte Designs
